The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) invites bids for the provision of physical security services across the Eastern Cape, Western Cape, Limpopo, and North-West provinces. The contract will run for thirty-six months. The successful service provider must manage access control, monitor premises 24/7, maintain occurrence registers, and enforce security policies. Key deliverables include providing trained security personnel equipped with necessary tools, such as two-way radios and response vehicles, and submitting regular progress reports. Bidders must demonstrate prior experience in security guarding projects and maintain operational offices in the provinces where they intend to provide services.

- Registered company — An active CIPC-registered company in good standing.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- Signed Joint Venture agreement if applicable
