The Department of Water and Sanitation is seeking a service provider to supply security guarding services at their Upington office in the Northern Cape. The contract will run for a period of three months. The successful bidder must provide a team of seven staff members, consisting of six security officers and one shift supervisor, to cover day and night shifts. Key responsibilities include access control, patrolling, safeguarding personnel and property, and incident reporting. The provider must maintain a 24-hour control room and ensure all staff are trained to industry standards. The service provider must be prepared to start work within 30 days of the contract award. This project requires the contractor to manage all operational costs, including wages and equipment, and maintain public liability insurance throughout the duration of the contract.
