Description

The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) is seeking service providers to supply physical security services for its plantations and nurseries across six provinces: Eastern Cape, Limpopo, Western Cape, KwaZulu Natal, North-West, and Free State. The contract will run for thirty-six months. Key deliverables include 24-hour security monitoring, access control, and vehicle patrols using 4x4 vehicles. Service providers must manage shifts, maintain incident registers, and provide training in fire safety and first aid. Bidders must have operational offices in the provinces where they intend to work and demonstrate prior experience in large-scale security projects.

  • Valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing
  • Public Liability Insurance with minimum R1,000,000 coverage
  • Proof of operational office presence in the relevant province
  • Valid business firearm licenses
  • Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN
  • Registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
  • Attendance at the compulsory briefing session
