Description

Bergrivier Municipality invites bids for the supply, installation, and monitoring of a fleet management and vehicle location system. The project covers approximately 140 municipal vehicles, including cars, trucks, and construction equipment. The system must be cloud-based, accessible via mobile devices, and capable of integrating with the municipality's financial software. Key deliverables include the installation of tracking hardware, driver identification tags, and the provision of a user interface for maintenance tracking and electronic logbooks. The service provider is also responsible for training municipal staff and providing user manuals. The contract period runs from the date of appointment until 31 January 2027. Work will be performed within the Bergrivier municipal area, and the provider must maintain support facilities within 150 kilometres of Piketberg.
